Agreement

These terms govern your use of CDLResume.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

CDLResume.com is a document creation tool. It takes information you provide about your driving experience and produces a formatted resume and, depending on the package you purchase, related application documents.

What the service is not

This is important and we want to be unambiguous about it.

  • We are not an employer, a motor carrier, a staffing agency, a recruiter or a job board.
  • We do not guarantee employment, interviews, job placement, compensation, recruiter responses or hiring success.
  • We do not submit applications on your behalf.
  • We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the FMCSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, any state licensing agency, or any trucking company.
  • We do not provide legal, employment or immigration advice.

Your responsibilities

  • Everything you enter must be accurate and true. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information on your resume.
  • You must review the generated document before you use it. Read it in full.
  • You must not use the service to create a document containing false statements about your license, endorsements, employment history, safety record or qualifications.
  • You must not use the service to impersonate another person.
  • You must not attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the free generation allowance, or interfere with the service.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.

AI-generated content

Resume text is produced with the assistance of an AI language model, constrained to the facts you enter and checked afterwards to remove unsupported claims. Despite those safeguards, automated writing can still contain errors.

You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the output before submitting it to any employer. We provide editing tools for exactly that purpose.

Payment

  • All prices are in United States dollars and are shown before you pay.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Packages are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
  • Your documents are delivered digitally and immediately after payment is confirmed.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

You own the resume content you create. You may use, edit, print and distribute your documents however you like.

The site itself — its software, templates, page content and branding — remains our property. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the service or its content.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service depends on third-party providers including Cloudflare, Stripe and OpenAI, and may be temporarily unavailable if one of them is.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not liable for lost employment, lost income, lost opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of a document created with this service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who abuses the service, attempts to defraud it, or uses it to create fraudulent documents.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of this service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
